HEALTHY DIGESTION

DIGESTION:::It is absolutely essential for the body to have proper digestion and digestive function. Your digestive system is responsible for taking in all the foods that you consume, breaking them down properly, making sure it is in the best form for the body to utilize, and then eliminating the waste so the body does not harbor any toxins. However, this is a very complicated, intricate, and resource intensive process. If there are any deficiencies in the digestive tract whether it's from illness, injury, aging, or how you've treated your body, it can have a significant impact on your overall health.
Digestion starts even before you put any food into your mouth. Just the smell, thought, vision of food begins the digestion process of releasing enzymes and reading the digestive muscles for the breaking down and absorption of food. Saliva in the mouth, hydrochloric acid in the stomach, tiny villi and bacteria in the intestines team together so that whatever you consume the body is able to break it down efficiently, quickly, and structure the nutrients in a way the systems are most able to use. However, to coordinate all the efforts, the digestive system must have support and be in tip-top condition.
Most individuals have spent more time taking care of the outside of their body than the inside. Years of consuming processed foods, sugars, high corrosive nutrients, toxins, and medications leaves the digestive system stripped of the enzymes and bacteria that are needed for proper digestion as well as create an environment in the stomach and intestines that can be easily irritated. These problems manifest themselves as constipation, diarrhea, stomach pain, ulcers, acid reflux, and diseases such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Crohn's Disease.
